Being A Great Grandmother Doesn't Require Perfection

As a granddaughter I have fond memories of my grandmother.

Snuggling up on the coach, laying back in her lap and cooking in the kitchen.

I never gave one thought about her shape or size.

She was perfect in my eyes.

Warm, soft and comfy.

As a grandmother I often remind myself my granddaughters don’t care what size and shape I am.

What they care about is how they feel when they are with me.

They are seen, heard, smothered in love and always know grandma provides a safe space.

You so elegantly and gracefully explain the relationship between establishing healthy boundaries while giving your child an opportunity to explore their own concept of self, identity, and creativity.
