Be The Cause Of Your Own Experience!

Take a break from the day-to-day routine!

Are you nurturing your youthful inner child?
Is your mind beautifully fit?
Are you the kind of parent who is ignoring your gifts?
Do you feel you might be stagnant, dull and lifeless?
Whether you're a new mom, a seasoned mom or an empty nester, throughout the daily bump and grind of life it easy to forget how to take care of ourselves. Look at life closely. It's important that we take time to establish an emotionally involved creative space, allowing our self time to nurture and plug into our youthful inner child.
Right now is a great time to begin practicing self empowerment, self-expression and finding your hidden talent, all the while, bringing more joy into your life by capitalizing on your endless possibilities. Take time to allow yourself quite time for soul-searching and self reflection. It's a great way to obtain serenity.
One simple tool would be to ask your angels to release the past and look forward to the future. Take a happy memory from your past childhood and rewind and tap into that emotion. Now let's bring that memory forward to the present moment deliberately engaging your mind to search out vigorously new ways of incorporating that happy vibration into your life now. It's time to reawaken and get reacquainted with your true inner self and allow yourself time to blossom and bloom.
Let's take a stroll down memory lane.
The role of motherhood has changed dramatically. Societal human conditioning has finally broken free and has expanded beyond the box of traditional thinking, which allows us to elevate our thoughts in our intentional conscious parenting roles.
What ever stage you are at in your life at this moment, say good-bye to the old and say hello to the new. We all need to empty our glass a few times in this life time and come from a different perspective.
You're invited to be the cause of your experience! Try any or all of these suggestions:
  • Pick up a couple of tickets for the next comedy show.
  • Spend the day at the spa.
  • Explore a wild river rafting trip.
  • Soak in a hot bubble bath.
  • Try a new yoga pose.
  • Plant a new garden.
  • Go to Disneyland.
  • Curl up on the couch with a feel-good movie.
  • Take a friend out to dinner and laugh, laugh, laugh.
  • Plan a game night with friends and family.
  • Rearrange furniture in your home.
  • Buy yourself some flowers.

Paint your world on a canvas as you see it. But most of all have fun!

I love this post ! I love what you said on how to recall a happy memory from our childhood and tap into that emotion. Just like that movie "Hook" when Peter Pan played by Robin Williams was learning how to fly again and was told "Don't let go of that happy thought."
Often times we tend to forget the child in us when we are swamped by the resposibilities of being a parent. Now I know why I always loved watching and reading stories about kids and why I always laughed like a kid, loud and carefree. A reminder that it pays to look and understand this world in the eyes of a child.

Sarah, thanks for the flashback to "Hook." What a great movie. We all have happy thoughts, we just need to pull on them more often than any other thoughts. We all have a little girl or little boy inside of us. :)
Keep laughing like a kid, loud and carefree!

Brenda, life can get in the way but getting quiet with ourselves feeds the body, mind and soul. You are worth it!
