I think being 'Respectful' is an important part of parenting. I find if I give respect and do not shame or humiliate my children I sometimes get the same in return.
Milton's Secret (book) by Eckhart is a children's picture book that will demonstrate to your child the power of living in the now.

Absolutely Mountain Momma, you are so right on target. By giving our children respect we earn it in return and we teach them how to respect other people in their lives. Respect is vital to conscious parenting. Thanks so much for your comment!
I think a parent should never shame or humiliate their children. That kind of behavior does damage and can stick around a life time!

Such a great reminder. It only takes a second to GET conscious and then follow through on our TRUEST intentions. However hectic we often feel...
Thanks and love,
